Jordan and Amanda traveled all the way from Kentucky to elope in the mountains of Washington! The forecast had promised clear skies, yet the mountains had their own plans. It was raining hard as soon as we arrived at the trailhead, but instead of waiting for it to die off, we stepped right into the moment.
Beneath towering, moss-covered trees, soft rain and a dusting of snow, they exchanged vows in a setting that felt almost otherworldly—quiet, intimate, and entirely their own. We spent the rest of the morning wandering through the mist, laughing, embracing the cold, and capturing memories that felt alive in a way sunshine alone could never quite replicate. And then just for a fleeting second, the sun slipped through the clouds casting down beneath the dense trees and glistening on the moss and greenery. This is something only the PNW could offer!

Chloe and Daniel are big outdoorsy people from eastern Washington but wanted to elope in the mountains on the west side. With most of the mountains not accessible in mid November, I told them I had the perfect spot that had a little bit of everything. Water, mountain views and greenery. The day had called for rain but we had lucked out just in time! After exchanging vows we walked around the lake taking photos and embracing the cold winter weather!
